Ammann & Whitney is a full-service architecture and engineering firm that provides design and construction services for public and private sector projects. The work of the firm includes new construction, renovations and adaptive reuse/historic preservation, interior design and sustainable design. ==History== Ammann & Whitney was founded in 1946 by Othmar Ammann, a bridge designer, and Charles S. Whitney, a designer of innovative structures. Ammann & Whitney has since grown into an international firm. While working with a wide variety of projects including (steel, concrete, masonry and timber) bridges for vehicular, pedestrian and rail traffic, Ammann & Whitney focuses on long span suspension bridges.
